overall, i found out that still open solaris can not be installed on non - 
primary partitions(I don't know whether windows can be installed on non-primary 
partitions. I think it may not install on non-primary partition). It can not 
dual boot with other operating systems unless open solaris is installed on 
primary partition. But, for smother migration and widespread use, it is very 
important to detect logical/non-primary partitions(ubuntu server ed detected 
logical partitions, but required another empty partition during installation. I 
don't have one, so i cancelled the installation) and dual boot with other 
operating systems even with non-primary partition installation. I don't know 
how much of this is technically feasible.
