Just done a clean install and have set my package authority to dev, i.e. paulj at opensolaris-home:~$ pkg authority PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI opensolaris.org (preferred) origin online http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev/ homeunix origin online http://ips.homeunix.com:10906/ paulj at opensolaris-home:~$ uname -a SunOS opensolaris-home 5.11 snv_111b i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris
Comparing with (on my other machine) paulj at workdellgx620:~$ pkg authority PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI opensolaris.org (preferred) origin online http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev/ homeunix origin online http://ips.homeunix.com:10906/ paulj at workdellgx620:~$ uname -a SunOS workdellgx620 5.11 snv_127 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris Running pkg image-update on the machine opensolaris-home I get paulj at opensolaris-home:~$ pfexec pkg image-update No updates available for this image.
