Is there anyway I can add a storage driver for the 3ware card I have during the installation process. There are 3ware drivers available for OpenSolaris, however the LiveCD does not have them and the Driver Utility shows none available. I want my system to install onto a HDD attached to this controller, but until I am able to have OpenSolaris recognise the controller no HDD will be shown.
I have NO HDD attached to the IDE/SATA ports on the motherboard and do not wish to use these as the entire system utilises a backplane for the HDD's which is attached to the 3ware controller. I could install Ubuntu as it has the recognised drivers on their LiveCD's, but I want to stay with OpenSolaris. So I can I go about getting OpenSolaris to install onto the HDD attached to the 3ware controller? Thanks for any suggestions. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
