Hey there, I know this seems to be a common problem but I couldn't find a solution for this in the other threads.
I'm trying to add two whole disks as spares to an rpool with "zpool add -f rpool spare c8t1d0 c9t1d0". The command is reporting that it failed because "EFI labeled devices are not supported on root pools." Okay I know that now but how do I resolve this? I tried to use "format -e" to label the device with SMI but still zpool fails to add the device. Just so I mention this: I want to use the same two disks as Hot-Spares for another pool (tank0).
