Did you make any hardware changes, e.g. moved boot disk to a different controller, changed s-ata ports, or changed p-ata channel, switched between master / slave setting on a p-ata channel, changed between IDE / AHCI mode in the BIOS? I think this is the panic you get when the physical device path for the device containing the root filesystem has changed. For a system with zfs root the fix is to boot from the livecd / install media / failsafe boot and run "zpool import -f rpool". -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
