-Did you make any hardware changes, e.g. moved boot disk to a different controller, changed s-ata ports, or changed p-ata channel, switched between master / slave setting on a p-ata channel, changed between IDE / AHCI mode in the BIOS?-
I made one change to my dell e521 removing the cd/dvd read only device and added another hd. It had another cd/dvd read write device already. This machine has multiple os's on multiple partitions in three hds you've helped me before. Anyway this machine did not have 2009.06 installed but has an older sxce nv-127 installed which no longer boots, ubuntu 7, ubunt enterprise cloud amd64, windows xp media center... Now nothing zfs will boot anymore, ntfs boots fine, ufs boots fine, sxce nv-129 dvd does not boot, 2009.06 cd does not boot , Belinix 7.1 cd will boot but not install to unformated partition , didn't want to erase one of my solaris partitions just yet. Yeah this machine doesn't have much crucial data. Do you know of anything else to try ?? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
