I am in need of installing Sun's distribution of OpenSolaris (ideally
OpenSolaris Preview (Build 130)) on a remote system currently running Solaris
10. The predicament lies with this being a remote system, where the options of
a disc or on-site network install are out the window. Unfortunately, I am
unaware how this process can be executed as a remote network install. My
understanding is Jumpstart cannot be used if the client and server are on
different subnets, which is the care. If someone can provide me the means to
accomplish this OpenSolaris installation, it would be much appreciated. This
particular system is non-Sun hardware, sporting the x86-64 processing
architect, utilizing the ZFS file system, and with no KVM over IP capabilities.
