I got it workin by directly editing /etc/gdm/gdm.schemas to have a user auto login. Which I think I no longer need.
I must say I also attached a vga dongle to the dvi connector. I think /etc/gdm/custom.conf is not read. does it need special permissions ? ( It was also not read on another machine, but gdm.schemas did the trick for auto login ) I have 1 machine that keeps loosing its hostname. thats why xauth messes up with ssh -X . I guess I could make the hostname file read only for root as well. :-) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
