I believe my errors are disk drive related. The errors are different, but at
each instance the OS was unable to find files or hit some corruption problem.
I am using a Samsung sp2004C disk (STAT II), it was not usable in SATA II mode
with any OS (windows, Suse 9.3, Solaris), but finished the installation when
set to SATA I. I moved SUSE and Windows to a western digital SATAII drive and
everything works fine. I will have to move Solaris as well.

HOWEVER, Solaris 10 build 22 does not see my Nvidia gigabit NIC. The Solaris
site says I need to install the package SUNWnge. Where can I find this
package? I looked all over the Sun.com site and cannot find it. Is is
available on the opensolaris site? It is not obvious to find packages.

As a final note, SUSE support finally admitted that their 64 bit SUSE 9.3 SMP
implementation rarely works for anyone.
Thanks
