I have a WD SATA 160GB HD divided into 3 partitions. One of them is a FAT32 system for Norton BootMagic. And I have done a resize to the other 2 NTFS partitions recently, one of them have WinXP with sp2.
The problem is when I tried to install SUSE10.0 with 5 CD versions named : SUSE-10.0-CD-i386-GM-CD*.iso. The installation cant get into the Graphical interface but only Text only windows. I keep going on the installation, the Network, CDROM everything are not being detected.( since I got messages said that CD1 not detected when the disc is actually in the drive. And network is not detected as well). But the funny thing is, when I unplug my SATA drive, and use another ATA133 drive, it can be installed perfectly on the ATA drive. And I tried to plug in my SATA drive with the installed SUSE10.0 on ATA133 drive, BOOTMagic can detect the new SUSE10.0 systems successfully but the loading of SUSE was failed....(WInxp is still working fine) Can anyone help me out with the installation problem my SATA HD ?
