Hi james. I've tried you suggestion but all it did was responding with : #svcadm disable ssh svcadm: Pattern 'ssh' doesn't match any instances. I've since installed b27a on the same laptop after disabling the Intel Speedstep, enabled the fan to be on at all times when AC is used and specified acpi-user-options=2 during the install. The whole install is "smoother" now and I haven't had any hangs, but I can't get it to boot. Now it stops at loading smf(5) service descriptions: 126/126 It still responds to me pressing the enter key, but nothing more happens. I'm lost and close to giving up...
