When trying to upgrade [fresh install] a W2100z with a Type 6 USB keyboard from Solaris Express b36 to Solaris Express Community Edition b39 the keyboard doesn't work at any selection screens after GRUB! Of course, the install fails since I cannot select a language to continue in.
Number Lock key is lit through boot up and stays lit into stage 2 but the cannot be toggled and is apparently unresponsive. Anyone have any insights as to what the problem may be? Things I've tried: 1) Moving USB ports around, no help 2) Confirm operation of equipment, older install DVDs work fine (<=b36) Thanks for any suggestions.
