Or perhaps not posted to a place that maximizes your chances of getting
a response from someone familiar with what your using.  :-)

This list is for discussing difficulties in getting, building and
installing OpenSolaris.  Which isn't the same thing as distributions
derived from OpenSolaris like Nexenta.  Though I'm sure there are people
on this list that run Nexenta, this isn't the first place I would turn
looking for help about Nexenta (or any of the other OpenSolaris derived
distributions).

I'm not familiar with Nexenta's inner-workings (hence my suggestion to
try their forums) but I'd be very surprised if there were any
similarities in device handling between Nexenta which is based on the
OpenSolaris kernel and the linux kernel.  The kernels are radically
different.  Instructions that apply to the linux kernel almost certainly
don't apply to an OpenSolaris derived kernel.
