Dear Sirs,
I have created a bootable iso DVD disk using Nero and it boots into a
Caldera DR-DOS program on my Toshiba A-65. I reinstalled Windows leaving
half the disk open for Solaris, intending to have a dual boot option
which I
have done before successfully with Fedora 8 using their install disk. The
error messages are: EMM 386 Warning adress in A20 already enabled. And:
EMM
386: Cannot find an unused 64 kilobyte range of upper memory to use for
an
EMS page frame. Using FRAME = NONE
FRAME= NONE
Anybody out there dual booting Solaris with Windows on a Toshiba laptop?
Is
there some code or command I need to enter in DOS to get the install to
start? Your attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to begin the Solaris install process _after_ you have the
machine up and running Windows ?

That's correct. Thanks for the reply. I have been able to do dual booting
with Redhat Linux before and thought I should be able to do the same thing
with Solaris. I'm not too sure about if it will work on this Toshiba
laptop though. Are you aware of any problems dual booting Solaris
alongside Windows on a laptop? Also I uninstalled Windows, scrubbed the
disk and got exactly the same error message described above trying to
install Solaris 10 solo. Bruce
