/usr/bin/nvidia-xconfig generates a pretty decent xorg.conf template
I just added the 1920x1200 resolution and it worked
Building an xorg.conf shouldn't be needed with a single 24" Sun monitor.
If it doesn't drive it at 1920x1200 automatically, something is wrong.
Previously you said it was being driven at 640x480. This is usually
a symptom EDID was not read from the display. Was the monitor connected
at boot or is it routed through a cheap kvm?
