I was running SXCE build 61 in a plain&simple installation on my DELL 9150 box. I have built a new kernel from a mercurial-checkout of onnv-gate using nightly with default settings in opensolaris.sh. The checkout was from mid april, and the bfu- and binary-downloads from the same date.
Well, compilation went smooth (using Studio 11), and so went the bfu-run on the produced archives, followed by 'acr', and reboot.
On reboot, I saw that the kernel version has changed from snv_61 to onnv-gate, and that obviously a DEBUG version of the kernel was installed. However, nothing more happened after the DEBUG message was printed... Booting into the safe-version from grub works, but I have no idead on how to fix the new onnv-gate install or recover snv_61.
Any hints? thanks, Joachim -- Joachim Worringen, Software Architect, Dolphin Interconnect Solutions phone ++49/(0)228/324 08 17 - http://www.dolphinics.com _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
