Booting into the safe-version from grub works, but I JW> have no idead on how to fix the new onnv-gate install or recover JW> snv_61. Hmm, I wonder if you're running into 6556092 Fix for 4698338 causes system to hang for ever after upgrade to snv_64. All of the remarks that I can see talk about hangs after doing an upgrade, so I don't know if BFUing would tickle this bug or not. One way to help pin down the problem would be to boot with the -v flag. Let me know if you need assistance doing that. Or, try booting from the failsafe; tell it to mount your onnv-gate partition as /a. Does the file /a/var/svc/profile/upgrade exist, and does it contain "svcadm disable -s svc:/network/tname" ? mike _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
