Hi,

I am trying to mount a HP SAN from my sun x4100 machine`s that are
interconnected with 4GB Fabric HBA cards from emulex.
The problem is I don`t see the LUN id`s and it doesn`t want to configure but
it the state is connected and unconfigured.

I tried to put the Occupant to configured with the following command:

cfgadm -fvc configure c4 c5

But nothing happens, the state is still unconfigured.
If I reboot the machine the state is still the same ( unconfigured ).

Also tried with the following settings in the /kernell/drv/scsi_vhci.conf as
explained by the documentation from HP.

mpxio-disable="no"
device-type-scsi-options-list=
"HP      OPEN", "symmetric-option";
symmetric-option = 0x1000000;

After a reboot it still doesn`t come up as a mountable device.
When running format it only sees c0 ( raid disk in system itself ).

With luxadm there is nothing to be found either:

luxadm probe

Although the device files are created:

luxadm -ev port

Any of you experienced this behaviour before and know a solution to this
problem?

Thanks in advance

Matthew
