What hardware are you running? More to the point, what sort of network card? If you run "/usr/X11/bin/scancpi" it will list all the devices installed. Near the end of the list is usually the network chip. Please paste the couple of lines, from the above output, related to you network card, back to this forum. At this stage it's looking like your network card is not supported by Solaris, but that cannot be confirmed until we know what it is!
