I have a Compaq ml370 that I have been running Solaris 10 x86 on for about 8 months. During the original installation, I was able to put in a floppy, made from the Compaq site, and have it recognize the drivers for the SCSI raid card in the box. I would like to rebuild the box with OpenSolaris b77. When I get to the screen to "update driver" I put the same floppy with the correct Solaris 10 x86 drivers in the floppy and tell the install to read them. It accesses the floppy and then returns "no drivers found".
Is there something I am missing? What is the installation looking for that is different from Solaris 10 x86? What is the file extension it is looking for? Thanks in advance for your help.
