no help I know but have exactly the same issue with a ml350G5 I can't install the opensolaris builds (have tried 70 and 77) because the installer won't read the cdrom with the driver for the E200i raid controller so no discs are found yet sol10X86 u4 has no problems at all reading the the disc and applying the driver. I want to use the opensolaris build as I need xen with zfs and zones.
Only thing Ican thinkof at the mo is installing to a an ide drive attached to the same controller as the cdrom then applying the drivers to the installed os and hopefully that will pick the array then image that onto the array and correct the mount points etc. Ah just thought might be able to applying the driver from a terminal before the installer goes looking for disc thats if you can get the gui installer up so that you can open a terminal. anybody got better ideas This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
