Great news in my case whatever has been done in nv-77 has fixed my system hang. 
Actually it will still hang after a boot into windows (mine is dual booting) 
but another reboot of opensolaris clears the problem. Until I boot into windows 
again then I have to do the boot-reboot again. Thanks again to the team working 
on this.
