Thanks for your reply. My problem started back in July I guess when they 
changed the install set-up. Earlier builds had different set up screens. I 
really thought something had gone out with my machines hardware since it 
affected an earlier build installed on a different harddrive. I've got two 
harddrives both split to run windows and solaris always keeping one harddrive 
in reserve. This problem never effected the windows OS on either hard drive.. 
Contacted Dell just to get my hardware checked but all they did was void my 
warrantee saying  I never should have made it dual booting which really ticked 
me off since I expressly stated to have the machine custom built to be out-of 
-the box compatible with solaris on purchase.
      Anyway I've tried nv73 & nv74 if you finally get it installed chances are 
it will not last more than 6 or 7 boots.
