I've recently acquired an IBM x236 server with installed ServeRAID 7K. The ServeRAID 7K is not supported on Solaris/OpenSolaris, but the driver for this is available in the SUNWips package.
When I try installing any version of Solaris 10 or OpenSolaris, I get a "no disks found" error. Any ideas how to get around this? I'm thinking I could repackage the install DVD (including rebuilding the miniroot), but not sure how to make sure it's a complete install were I to do that.
