[osol-help] user's profile in Solaris DE

Can somebody explain where the '.profile' in Solaris DE is located.
In Solaris 10 it's in the user's directory but I cannot find it back in Solaris 
DE.
Additionally doing a 'ls -a' in the user's directory gives pretty
much different results between Solaris 10 and Solaris DE.
