When Solaris 10 is installed there are no user's created. So I use 'useradd -d /export/home/username -m -s /bin/bash username' Then I simply edit the .profile file.
When installing Solaris Express, during installation a username was asked so I didn't need to manually add a user. Suppose I want to add packages from for instance Solaris freeware and I create '.profile' myself: include the standard paths displayed after doing 'echo $PATH' plus the path where the Solaris freeware resides. When I relogin, will Solaris Express automatically source this file, since it's there?
