I'm doing a JumpStart install of Community Edition b86 x86, with a custom set of packages (sans the JDK in b86) plus JDK6u5 packages, which are in the profile like this:
package SUNWj6cfg add nfs 172.16.0.2:/files/install/jdk6u5-x86 package SUNWj6dev package SUNWj6dvx package SUNWj6rt package SUNWj6rtx These fail to install with these warnings: WARNING: Cannot install package SUNWj6cfg from alternate location WARNING: Cannot install package SUNWj6dev from alternate location WARNING: Cannot install package SUNWj6dvx from alternate location WARNING: Cannot install package SUNWj6rt from alternate location WARNING: Cannot install package SUNWj6rtx from alternate location These same packages install fine using pkgadd after the system reboots, and these same packages with the same profile lines install fine during an S10U4 jumpstart install. What's preventing them from being installed in b86? This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
