I just installed the latest SXDE yesterday and upon reboot it just says GRUB. Nothing is doing at that point. So that is just the SXDE install failing to be able to reboot into the newly installed OS. I copied my Ubuntu MBR using this advice http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=58239&tstart=0 So after adding this bit to my functioning ubuntu grub menu.lst: title OpenSolaris root (hd0,2) chainloader +1 I attempt to boot into OpenSolaris and it does the same hanging at GRUB. Last year with the early release of OpenSolaris I had no issues with this. I'll keep on searching the forums for a solution to this. This sure is a frustrating feature.
