It passes the OBP diagnostics and ran Solaris 9 without this hang ever 
occurring. It ran SUNvts for 100 minutes in stress=high mode with only one 
failure (1). The hang only seems to be a problem with Sol11 (I could never get 
Sol10 to run because of USB issues). Asking this question on OpenSolaris-help 
because it only seems to happen when running OpenSolaris >= nv45.

I suspect the problem has to do with the USB driver, which, albeit far better 
than any previous USB support, still doesn't handle a USB keyboard on this 
hardware (see Bug ID 6662703). 

I do have a second, identical, U80.that I bought for spares. I may try swapping 
the machines to see if the hang still occurs. 

My question was what to do if Stop-A doesn't work. Is there another way to 
force a crash dump or somehow get into the OBP? I imagine that it could be the 
OBP itself that has crashed, so how does one debug that? I admit that that 
wouldn't be an OpenSolaris question, but the osol developers must run into 
this, surely...
