I am just starting my journey with opensolaris and have downloaded the latest
cd. My question is, is there a way to do just a basic install for servers or in
situations where i want to have control over what desktop environment / apps i
want instead of a generic cookie cutter install? On servers i don't have any
need for gnome, xserver and alot of the other apps that come with the generic
install. On my desktop i was wanting to use xfce and compiz fusion...is there a
way to achieve this.?
