Not sure how much use you find this but I am very interested in the layout you
have. So far I've been able to run Windows and opensolaris with very little
problems ( sometimes you have to boot;reboot to clear the ram ). I had to
repartition my harddrive with three primary partitions. Did not even try with
logical partitions. The windows recovery cd will do this nicely. Install
windows on its ntfs partition and do another for your data leave the rest
unallocated. The opensolaris installer will give a solaris partition option for
the unallocated space. Once the size of this new partition is set my e521
chipset worked well with the install. The opensolaris grup master boot record
will give option to boot either os.
My problem has been getting the data partition visable with one button call
mount within solaris . Works very well with external fat harddrive (usb)
working through media directory. Can change the internal harddrive partition to
fat with free download tool from seagate but it hasn't helped with a one button
icon mount call. If you get it going let me know. Hope this helps.
