Hello, I am trying to install OpenSolaris (the latest release, may 2008) on my Toshiba P105 s921 notebook computer.
The PC shuts off by itself shortly after selecting either grub option (text mode or standard). I did a -v and took a screen shot (using my cheap digital camera) before it shut my laptop off. I cannot get past this point (unable to install Solaris or even boot to the live cd). The screenshot is the last bit of information displayed before the PC completely shuts itself off. http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/Schadenfroh/DSCF0734.JPG Since the last line relates to video, it uses an nVidia 7900 GS.
