Hi, There is a batch of new motherbords for Phenom quadcore cpu out now, Have any of you tried Nevada or Opensolaris on :
First two Dual socket quadcore Motherboards based on Socket F for Opteron 2000 ( 2356 quad-core ) These should run as they are slightly modified previous designs, But a confirm from somone who tried would be nice. http://www.tyan.com/product_board_detail.aspx?pid=541 http://www.asus.com.tw/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=82&l3=612&l4=0&model=1984&modelmenu=1 These are all new single socket with new Nvidia Nforce MCP78 chipset for Socket AM2+ and Phenom with Hypertransport 3. If you have one of these please try Solaris on it so we can gain an understanding if MCP78 is usable. http://www.asus.com.tw/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=676&l4=0&model=2260&modelmenu=1 http://www.asus.com.tw/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=646&l4=0&model=2097&modelmenu=1 http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=1438&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=171 http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=proddesc&prod_no=1443&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=171&cat3_no= This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
