Your data is out of date :-)  OpenSolaris 2008.05 *only* supports ZFS
for the root/boot filesystem.  Right out of the box.  Solaris Express
Community Edition starting with build 91 supports both ZFS and UFS
root/boot filesystems (just for completeness sake).
