The ZFS best practices guide and the ZFS administration guide left me
with the impression that it is better to give ZFS entire disks instead
of slices.

I have a box with two 1 TB drives which I would like to use in a ZFS
mirrored configuration.

I booted the OpenSolaris live CD and started the install process.

When I am presented with the "Disk: Where should OpenSolaris be
installed" question, I can see no mechanism to tell it to use both disks
and to configure them in a ZFS mirrored configuration.

How do I tell the installer to use all of both 1 TB disks and to mirror
them.

Forgive me if my thinking is distorted. I am mentally equating this to
a software RAID 1 configuration used during a Linux install which can be
used for boot, root, and even swap.

Does OpenSolaris/ZFS support what I want to do?

Thanks,
Aaron
