My x86 Solaris system is connected to the serial console, so I can choose things from the grub menu and watch boot messages remotely. However, what I find is that there are too few messages displayed while Solaris boots. In my case, this is all I see: --- SunOS Release 5.11 Version on-src-b79 64-bit Copyright 1983-2007 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. DEBUG enabled Hostname: quad /dev/rdsk/c2d0s7 is clean /dev/rdsk/c2d0s4 is clean Reading ZFS config: done.
quad console login: --- In contrast, Linux prints a lot more stuff. Is there any way I can make Solaris print more stuff to the console when it boots? Thanks! This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list [email protected]
