Quite a noob question. Here it goes.

I want triple boot, windowx, ubuntu and opensolaris (sxde gave me weird error
messages when I tried to install it bu that is for another post)

I thought I followed the instructions on the partitioning. I now have a 30 gb
windows partition /dev/hda1 and a /dev/hda2 of 44gb.

Within that hda2 I made room for a linux-swap partition of 27gb.

So that /dev/hda2 looks like
/dev/hda7 linux-swap 27.12
/dev/hda5 ext3 15.82
/dev/hda6 linux-swap 1.56

Last two for ubuntu.

When I try to use the opensolaris live cd, the options it gives for partitions
include only 30gb or 44gb. I have not tried to click next on that screen not to
do anything un-undoable.

Can I point solaris to take the 27gb part of the 44gb partition?

If not, what should I do within gparted?
