One CD can only hold just so much - that's what the repository (pkg.opensolaris.org, I think) is for. And while you and I might agree that include files are useful, the average no-clue click monkey would probably find one more GUI app (differing according to their needs) far more useful, since they couldn't even _spell_ C, let alone write a "hello, world" program in it! The sad part is that the world contains a lot more of them than of us...
