Hello guys.

First, sorry for my bad english.

So, going directly to the point, I am a real nub in linux (or any other system
but M$).

I like to learn linux and a friend of mine suggested to use opensolaris, so, I
have installed in a second HD this distro (2008.05).

It works fine with my hardware and just don't detect two things. The integrated
sound card and the integrated lan card. But I have here a USB DLINK adapter and
use it to fly in internet ^^.

The opensolaris detected properly this adapter and now I am trying to configure
it to connect with my router (dlink too).

First, when I go to System/Adminitration/Network, it show to me a message
saying that I need to disable nwamd(-1) to be possible to made network changes.
So, I've searched in google how to disable it ^^.

After the correct procedures done, I go in the same
System/Administation/Network and it open a window with some tabs that I
supposed to be used to finally configure lan.

But I don't see there nothing like "TCP/IP config" that we have in MS Windows.

Additionally information is that I don't see there my adapters name. The
connections tab is empty.

What can I do to it works fine? I just need to put there my correct IP and the
security password to access the wireless router.

If I don't made myself understood I will try to explain again later.

Thanks
