Well, I tried to boot in the verbose mode and I found out, that the startup hangs on CPU loading, specifically after this two lines: [CODE] workaround applied for cpu erratum #122 workaround applied for cpu issue #6336786 [/CODE] Before them it recognizes the CPU correctly. Maybe it has some problem with the CPU? It would explain the slow performance of the system as a whole. Another moment when it hangs long is when X is starting, but I suppose that's normal...
The performance of the system once it's loaded increased quite a lot - although it's not perfect and still much slower than Linux on the same computer, perhaps the performance increase will continue:-). Maybe preload (if there's anything like that) have build a library with a list of applications to load?
