I got the wired NIC working in mean time by using the Yukonxl driver
listed above so at least had some network connectivity although my local
network didn't seem to be too responsive for some reason.... as layer 3
didn't work at all for some machines so I'm thinking since it's a
switched network that even though DNS resolved for each system that it
is a layer 2 issue somewhere as ifconfig -a printed out the MAC
addresses in an in-appropriate format to what I'm used to; meaning
00.af.00.bf.... as example was 0.af.0.bf almost like IPv6 shorthand??
(not confusing between L3 and L2 though!)
In Belenix, since I develop themes for it, a different driver was used
for wired NIC altogether no need for Yukonxl was something like myk
driver.... if I recall correctly (sorry in Linux now writing this).
Anyway yeah that's the current status so will wait for your input again
and see what happens next!
