Hmm... ok but you are trying the update CD though which means that some
things may have changed - just a guess though.
Try turning anything which could cause a malfunction off too like with
HT enabled processors HT is a good start as it can be buggy lol.

apparently pentium D supports 64bit but i had it on 32 anyway cos i
wasnt sure about some compatibility at the time not sure what it was
now...
Try 64 bit and CC to thread when posting if using mailing list otherwise
respond there ;-) - that's what threads are for, to be viewed by everyone!!
