i've been able to install opensolaris osol-0906-x86.iso in VirtualBox Sun . than i 've burned iso file creating a boot CD with Ultraiso and all done well. i boot from CD ,Opensoalris graphic menù appears: i choose 1st option ,then after choosing keyboard usb layout,and keybord layout,i arrived at: opensolaris console login: here, i know that username and password are Jack,and then su root and opensolaris as password,but the problem is not this,i've been able to login,only that DEsktop Gnome do not appears,(also after waiting at opensolaris console login:)so i'm not be able to install it.is there a solution for this,because in VirtualBox all is working and after opensolaris console login if i do not enter any name and password,all proceed automatically showing me Desktop Gnome from which i can do opensoalris installation without problem.thanks in advanced if you want answer me.Sorry for my English it is not my language. my system is motherboard AsRock, 2 giga ram, VistaUltimate installed,intel 82945g graphic video card onboard,cpu E2180 dual core intel 2,00 ghz. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-help mailing list opensolaris-help@opensolaris.org
