[osol-help] When system crashes, how to get log / crash info for troubleshooting

My snv-129 system is crashing, I have enabled savecore with 'dumpadm -y' yet 
when it crashes, it creates the crash folder, yet does not write any files in 
it. Does anyone have insight on getting good info when a system crashes?
