OK, I'm back now. Reviewing the past messages you mentioned something
about VM. Are you trying this in a VM? Also, when you responded:
$ pfexec pkg set-publisher -P -O http://pkg.opensolaris.org/dev/
opensolaris.org
pkg: Could not refresh the catalog for opensolaris.org
It didn't say it couldn't set the publisher, just not refresh the
catalog. Did you try a "pkg publisher" after this?
