Not really...

I'm assuming the error is generated by the HDD,
but it doesn't make sense that the HDD reports
sector 0 is an invalid / non existing sector.

Would anything change if you tell the Solaris ata 
driver not to use DMA when accessing the disk?
Try booting the kernel by adding  "-B ata-dma-enabled=0"
at the end of the kernel$ line via grub.

I didn't find any existing bug reports with
"ID not found" errors from the ata driver, at
http://bugs.opensolaris.org

Seems to be a new and unknown problem.
I'd file a bug, to document the problem.
