Not like Oracle can kill the project anyway. The source has been
released, under a license that doesn't allow arbitrary
revocation. That can't be undone.

Yeah, Sun's support is really important, and losing it would be a
serious blow. It might even be enough to eventually cause the project
to die. But Oracle can't just declare it dead.
