In the process of building a replacement for my aged home server[1],
I noticed that I could not find packages for the news server INN and
DJB-DNS (tinydns and dnscache) on Opensolaris.org or Blastwave.

Have I perhaps missed anything? While I am able and willing to build
them from the source, I would prefer using a package that is
precompiled and, in particular, already adapted to the system.

[1] In case anyone is curious: The old one is a Fujitsu-Siemens
Activy 300, an old HTPC chassis with a 733 MHz Celeron, 256 MB
RAM, 2 160 GB disks running FreeBSD 5.STABLE since 2005; the new
is a Zotac ION ITX G board with a 1.5 GHz Atom 330, 4 GB RAM,
and 4 1.5 TB disks in two ZFS mirrors with snv_131.

Regards, Juergen.

If you link /dev/tape to /dev/null, your backups go WAY faster - and
only about 20 percent less likely to fail a restore than if you'd
used Exabyte. -- Paul Tomblin
