Well, true, although it is always less work to install a pre-built
package.

I use both INN and dnscache (not tinydns yet, but BIND for the
authoritative servers) with IPv6 under FreeBSD. I guess -- and hope
-- that the IPv6ability is not just a property of the FreeBSD port. 
I'll find out anyway, because I have nearly everything running with
IPv6.
