I have a Gateway LX6810 and I am trying to install OpenSolaris 2009.06. If I use a liveCD it never actually gets to the live boot. I created a liveUSB and it gets to the gnome desktop however when i start the install, my hard drives do not show. The installer only registers the usb drive and any other removable media that is plugged in.
